Six Month Smiles isn’t invisible, but it’s very discreet, with inconspicuous clear brackets that are connected using a tooth-coloured wire. It’s this ‘memory shape’ wire that gently guides your teeth into their new position, gradually revealing a straighter and more confident smile.

Treatment takes less time because the brace is only concerned with changing the position of your front teeth. This means it’s not necessarily the right brace for everyone. But it’s a great option if you’re generally happy with your smile and the way your teeth bite together but would prefer your front teeth to be a little straighter.

Some of the problems that Six Month Smiles can improve include mildly crowded, crooked or spaced teeth. Most cases are completed in around six months, but treatment times can vary between four and nine months.

INMAN ALIGNER

The Inman Aligner is a simple removable appliance used to align front teeth quickly and safely. It is barely visible and removable, allowing the wearer to go brace-free for important occasions. It’s ideal as a standalone treatment or to pre-align teeth prior to further cosmetic options such as bonding or minimal veneers.

What can the Inman Aligner do?

It aligns the front teeth (crowding, protrusion, rotations, crossbites).

Ideal for orthodontic relapse.
As a stand-alone treatment or combine with simple whitening and bonding.
Pre-alignment for cosmetic cases so teeth don’t need much preparation and veneers can be super-thin.

However, the Inman Aligner is only used for treating the top and bottom front teeth, whereas conventional braces can treat your whole arch.

How does it Work?

The Inman Aligner has Nickel Titanium coil springs that power two aligner bows that gently oppose each other, guiding the teeth into their new position.

These gentle forces are active over a very large range of movement, which is why the Inman Aligner works so quickly. Most cases take 6-18 weeks.

METAL BRACES

Traditional metal braces are the original method of orthodontic treatment, and allow us to treat the whole arch. There are three main components to metal braces: small metal brackets which are bonded to the front surface of your teeth, thin metal archwires to connect these brackets, and small elastic bands (ligatures) which are placed around the brackets. These parts work together to apply gentle pressure to your teeth to move them into position.

CLEAR BRACES

One of the most popular orthodontic treatment methods for adults is clear aligners. These are virtually invisible aligners which move teeth into position.
