Stephanie is our newest receptionist, but always being up for a challenge, she learnt the ropes very quickly and had plenty of ideas to help improve our services for our patients. Outside of work, her three children keep her very busy, but she still finds time to learn new things and is currently doing an Open University course.
Sarah knows Byways inside out, having been working there since 2015. Originally from Liverpool, Sarah has been working in healthcare a long time. Sarah loves to travel, and we enjoy hearing all her holiday stories. In her spare time, Sarah is a keen gym member and spend much time walking her dog, Wilma. She is also a keen baker and is always kind enough to make us birthday cakes.
Chrissy has started working at Byways in 2017 as a trainee dental nurse and passed her nursing exams in 2020. She also has an NVQ level 3 in health and social care, which she makes good use of with her caring approach to patients. In her spare time, Chrissy enjoys fitness classes and spending time with her friends and family.
Practice Manager / Dental Nurse
Gemma started working at Byways Dental Practice in January 2020. She has worked within Dentistry for the last 15 years. Her career started in 1999 and went onto complete her dental nursing qualification in 2003.
Gemma is a self-motivated individual and enjoys working in all aspects of dentistry. In her spare time, Gemma is studying for a Bachelor in Business Management with the Open University.
Gemma is passionate about food, health and wellbeing. Sheregularly participates in Park Run.

Rebecca qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Bristol University in 2011. She is born and bred in Reading so, after completing her training year in Somerset, she returned to the South East. Oral health promotion has always been her passion and following the birth of her daughter Ella in 2018, she decided to focus solely on this aspect of dentistry.
She no longer works as a general dentist and joined Byways Dental Practice in January 2020 providing hygiene sessions. She has experience with anxious patients and enjoys helping to put her patients at ease and provide the treatment, information and motivation needed to help patients maintain healthy teeth and gums.
Becca is particularly keen on enhancing her knowledge of gum disease and its treatment and keeping up to date in developments in oral healthcare.
Outside of work, other than looking after Ella, if Becca has time to herself, she enjoys playing the piano, cooking and swimming
Victoria, originally from Cardiff, qualified as a dental hygienist at Bristol Dental School in 1994. Since then Vicky has gained vast experience in several private practices specialising in implantology, periodontology, orthodontics, tooth whitening and general dentistry. She has worked at London UCH and in many countries including United Arab Emirates, Germany, Guernsey and Jersey.
Outside of work, Vicky enjoys travelling and experiencing different countries and cultures. Whenrelaxing she enjoys spending time with family and friends, eating out and long walks.
Dr Raman Bhardwaj
Specialist in Periodontics - GDC reg: 85724
Raman graduated from Bristol Dental School in 2005. After completing vocational training, Raman worked as a senior House Officer in oral surgery, restorative dentistry and periodontics at various institutions including the Birmingham Dental Hospital and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. During this time, Raman achieved Membership of the Faculty of Dental surgeons, awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons.
In 2013, Raman completed his 4-year specialist training in periodontics at King’s College, London. Raman then went on to be awarded the Master of Clinical Dentistry (Periodontics) qualification and Membership in Periodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
Raman is registered with the General Dental Council as a specialist in Periodontics. He currently works at several referral practices in London and the South providing a wide range of treatments. Raman specialises in non-surgical treatment of gum disease, mucogingival surgery for gum recession, crown lengthening surgery, periodontal regeneration and placement of dental implants.

Dr Amita Aggarwal

Special Interest in Orthodontics
Amita qualified in 2005 from the University of Birmingham and then further completed an MJDF RCS qualification in 2009. After working for a while in general dentistry, she decided to take a job as a senior house officer working in the maxillofacial departments of both Eastbourne and Brighton General Hospitals. Here she gained vast experience in the removal of difficult teeth including impacted wisdom teeth and a vast array of surgical skills.
Dr.Amita Aggarwal keeps up-to-date with continued professional development and enjoys treating a wide range of patients and gaining their confidence and trust, especially nervous patients who may ordinarily prefer their treatment done under sedation. Having two young children herself, she offers a calm and relaxing approach to treating children.
When time allows, Amita enjoys Yoga, running and is a keen baker.

Dr Pavan Gogna

Special interest in Endodontics
Pavan qualified from Guys and St Thomas’s hospital in London in 2003 with Honours and then completed his MJDF qualification in 2008.
Dr PavanGogna has vast experience in providing both NHS and private treatment and in 2009 gained a Diploma in Endodontics from the renowned Eastman Dental Institute to become a dentist with special interest in Endodontics.
He also has experience in cosmetic smile makeovers and prides himself on being able to listen to patient needs and provide a calm, pain-free approach to dentistry.
PavanGogna brings a very caring style to treating his patients and thoroughly believes in putting patients interests first. He has been accepting root canal referrals for over 10 years and has developed a very good relationship with several referring dental practices.
Outside of work, Pavan and Amita’s two young children keep him very busy. He’s also an avid football fan, enjoying both playing and watching it.
